How my journey began
Raised as a rancher’s daughter in South Texas, I learned early the value of hard work, resilience, faithfulness, and showing up for people when it matters most. Those roots continue to shape the way I approach counseling today—with warmth, practicality, compassion, and respect for each person’s story.
After attending Texas A&M University, I was transplanted to Virginia in 2005, where my personal and professional journey continued to grow. In 2014, I began working as a Licensed Counselor, serving individuals and communities through some of life’s most difficult seasons.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with military members and first responders, health care workers, teachers, and survivors of domestic violence. These experiences have deepened my commitment to supporting people who carry heavy responsibilities, navigate high-stress environments, or are working to rebuild safety, confidence, and hope.
My counseling style is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe healing often begins when people feel truly heard and respected, and I strive to create a safe space where clients can process challenges, recognize their strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
